My mom, who lives back in east Texas where I grew up, checks our blog quite frequently since she does not get to see Griffin very much. Well, if you haven't noticed I haven't been keeping it updated as much as I used to. Why haven't I? Because I haven't felt like it. I will be 13 wks pregnant Sunday, and the last month 1/2 have been ever so stressful and trying. I have barely been able to keep my head above water. I have come realize these past weeks that I LOVE FEELING WELL! I suppose we all do, but I REALLY DO!!! I am appreciating this new found energy that has come my way the last, well, day. haha.. yeah just today I have felt the best I have felt in a long time and I am thanking my God for blessing me today.
Anyways, these pictures I took just tonight. Griffin is 19 months old now and is looking more and more like a boy instead of a baby. He is talking up a storm. I'll try to list as many words as I can think of that he can say:
fish, dog, cat, sky, stars, mama, dada, papa, meemaw, nauna, poppa, wa-wa for water, Jesus, Bible, book, blue, boots, house, ball, bye bye, of you- for love you, please, up, down, tree, naner- for banana
That's all I can think of right now. It seems like he learns a new word every day which has been so much fun! If he didn't have books, I'm not sure what he would do all day long. He is such a bookworm. His next fav thing are balls and playing catch with his dad. Tyler has actually taught him how to catch a ball! So funny! But he can really do it! Tyler has also taught him how to climb up onto the couch, loveseat, and recliner. He likes to climb up on one of these with a book and sit and read. He stills enjoys eating pretty good, but his molars are coming in and so that, I think, has prevented him from eating a whole lot lately. He loves fruit like it's candy and will eat any kind pretty much. I was washing some oranges the other day and he walked up and wanted one, so I handed him one, which wasn't peeled yet, and he bit right into it and I had to pull the peeling out of his mouth. And today I gave him some apple juice, which I hardly ever give him, and he sucked that down like it was ice cream or something.
What else? We are just enjoying the stage he is in right now and eager to see what a great big brother he will be. :) I predict he will def be the leader of the pack and be very loving to his siblings.
I will try to post more frequently now that I'm in the 2nd trimester and will try to post a prego pic soon of this growing, sweet baby soon. Oh and Merry Christmas!!!
