# 2 as in baby # 2 that is. We are expecting! We found out on Oct. 9th, the soonest it would show up, although I had been taking pregnancy tests before that thinking there might be a slight chance it would show up, right? wrong. And on that Sat. morning it did show up, it was very light and just barely there, but it was there! And we were so, so excited and praising God! It was fun, because Tyler's mom and dad were coming that day because Tyler preached the next day, and we got to tell them in person.
I am 10 weeks along as of tomorrow, so just two weeks away from the 2nd trimester, and you betcha I am ready for that 2nd trimester to arrive! I have been so nauseated and tired the last 4 weeks, but somehow you push through and kinda get used to it in a way, but not really. I am praying the next 6 months I will feel normal again and have increased energy, because ya know there is always that slight chance that you could have a pregnancy where you feel bad the entire time! please no. Anyways, we will find out the sex of the baby the end if January, and cannot wait. Tyler is set on that it is another boy, of course. He believes Hicks only have boys. I remind him that there IS A CHANCE it could be a girl. We really do not care though, just praying for another healthy baby. Griffin will be 2 yrs and 2 months old when #2 is born in late June. They will be 26 months apart. I am glad of this. Our goal was to have them at least 2 yrs apart. I barely made it, I was so eager to be pregnant again. ha.
We are just so very thankful for this special gift from the Lord and cannot wait to meet this new sweet, precious!
Please be praying for him/her and for us as we get ready to become parents of two, which we know will be an adjustment, but so much fun as well. :)
