about to go to the nursery at The Journey church
Griffin and his new buddy, Gus.
gotta have the tent
loving the farmWe made it back from St. Louis yesterday with no problems with our flights. We were so thankful for this because on the way to St. Louis was an awful experience that I wish to never live over again. But, nonetheless, we made it to St. Louis safely, PRAISE GOD!
We had a great time visiting family and meeting new family. Griffin loved the bouncy house all weekend and is learning to jump. He loved playing with his cousin, Cole, and looking at the cows come out in the evenings (the reunion was out at my uncles farm in Troy, Missouri) and hugging their dog, Gus. Tyler enjoyed spending some quality time with my dad and visiting with my cousins.
We also got to go to church on Sunday at The Journey. This church's pastor, Darren Patrick, is a guy Tyler listens to on podcasts, who planted this church in St. Louis. He wasn't there on Sunday but we got to hear another guy preach who was awesome. It was such a blessing to be in church and worship the Lord with my parents and grandmother. And Griffin loved being in their nursery. We told the ladies that were keeping him that we were only visiting from New Mexico. One of them said, "You mean we won't ever see Griffin again? ever? Y'all are never coming back?" It was funny. They were disappointed, which made us feel good that they enjoyed Griffin.
So it was a good trip. Being home has been nice and we have enjoyed getting lots of rest. Traveling is so draining it seems.
Two of these pictures I stole from my cousin, who had them on his facebook, since we didn't even bring our camera unfortuneately.
Thanks St. Louis and the Nevins family! It was nice visiting you!
