Lots of updates

OK, a lot has happened since the last post. This week I went to work like normal on Monday morning and felt fine. Then Tues night at 3:34 pm I started having strong pains down low. I got up and walked around some, ate a banana, and read some in my pregnancy book. I then tried to go back to sleep but had a hard time sleeping. So I called Bovina and stayed home Tuesday. The cramps were still there on and off all day and so I went to the doc and got examined. It ended up being just a days worth of Braxton Hicks contractions I think and I hadn't dilated any. (Bummer) I didn't sleep well Tues night so stayed home again from work on Wed. I then felt like it was just time for me to go into my maternity leave from work. So I called principal and she agreed. So I am officially not working now! My students love the sub they have and my principal and I both felt like they would do fine next week on their last TAKS test with him being there instead of me, so hopefully they will do well! I have already taught them everything they need and I am not worried.
It has been a bit hard these last couple days, realizing I won't go back to Bovina ever again to teach. I will miss my students and the people I worked with, but I am SO relieved that I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn anymore and drive over there every day. I realize I will be getting up a lot real soon with Griffin, however, but I am excited about that! We can just stay home and not go anywhere if we don't feel like it.
So all that to say, we are just waiting now again for some contractions to start or for the water to break. Please keep up us in your prayers, that we will be strong through the labor and delivery and depend upon the Lord. And that Griffin and I will be fine and healthy and also that he will be a good eater from the get go and will want to eat! :) Thanks so much everyone. We will keep updating our blog periodically and Tyler will most likely bring his laptop to the hosp to keep updates going on here. We think it will be the easiest way for everyone to stay updated. It's hard texting so many people all at once.

We are so excited to see Griffin soon!
