and just thought I'd blog about my day. Tyler left the house before me this morning! This NEVER happens. We both got up at the exact same time. This never happens either. Another youth minister in town and him went to Alburqurque ( I can never spell it right) today and they left at 6 am. I leave at 6:15 am. Not sure what they are doing in Alburqurque, some meeting or mini conference I think.
My students are out at recess. Me and my co-teacher went to the only place in Bovina, TX where you can get a halfway decent lunch for a small price of $8. (I know that's actually way too expensive for Bovina, TX) But we did not want chicken and rice on a tortilla from the school cafeteria and we never treat ourselves out to eat at the gas station so we thought we would. They always have a special every day and today it was chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a slice of bread. I also broke down and got a root beer over this really good ice they have there, some blue skittles, and 3 lemon heads which I won't eat all in one day hopefully.
Now Griffin and I are completely satisfied until about 2:00 rolls around and he's usually hungry again.
Work has been good today. My students are coming back from recess. Gotta go...
I'm back, students are now in computer lab. They take the Reading TAKS test next Tues. I am not real worried about it. I think all my students will do fine. We have been working really hard and hopefully I have drilled it into their heads pretty good how important this test is and how they must do their best and only give 100%. We are reading Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory right now. I wanted to read it before Valentines day and watch the movie at our party but we had to finish Number the Stars first. I love to read novels with them. They get so into it and end up really enjoying reading for the fun and excitement of it. It is good, also, for them to see me read and get into to it. I hope they will all always be readers and learners.
What else....hmmm...not much else to blog about I guess.. I am looking for to seeing Tyler tonight. I always look forward to him coming home after a long day at work. I am so thankful for him. He seems to be able to just make everything better in my life. The Lord is so good for blessing me with such an amazing, understanding, and selfless husband. I hope i will always show him how much I appreciate him. And if you read our blog and haven't checked out his sermons he has been putting on the blog then check one out. I am so proud of him! He would love any comments you may have. :)

I think I shouldn't take it for granted that I can eat anywhere in town (within reason -- can't be too far from the office), but it's never a gas station. ;) We had sushi for lunch today. We've learned that if we call in our order, it's ready for us when we get there. WE LOVE IT!!
