DC

One of my best friends, Melissa, called me Monday night and was like "YOU'RE GOING TO DC??? WHEN??? I might be going to Washington too soon!" I quickly calmed her down to explain that DC in the Hicks family actually means Denver City. It was quite funny though, cause I was like "Mel, why would we be going to Washington D.C. for the weekend? She cracks me up.
So yes, we are going to head to Denver City this weekend to visit Tyler's mom and dad who have just re-done almost their entire house since it got practically blown away by a tornado this past June, and we're going to check out the newly remade home they now live in. We are also going to get see some good friends of ours, the Morales family, who by the way just had a sweet baby boy themselves, Elijah Luke. I am so excited to get to see this baby! He is such a cute one. We are def eager to see Tyler's best friend Jerod and his wife April who we haven't seen since their wedding a year 1/2 ago. (well, Tyler saw Jerod in June at wedding).
Anyways, we are looking forward to this weekend with family and friends in DC (Denver City) :) But Washington would have been cool too.....
