Elysian Fields

Mom and I got up this morning and drove in to ELysian Fields so I could go to church at Crossroads today. It was so sweet to get to visit my old church I grew up in. I miss it alot. I enjoyed seeing old friends and hearing my pastor preach.
We are at the EF house now and awhile ago I went outside and just walked around and looked at all the VERY tall tress surrounding my mom and dad's house. It's funny how you forget how tall the trees are when you have been away for so long. They now remind me of the dancing trees in Chronicles of Narnia Prince Caspien. I love those trees! Anyways, it is so wonderful to be back in my old stomping ground. The only thing that's missing is MELISSA! I wish you were still here Mel! It's weird that I just can't call you up and say "Let's so something!" But I know you are very happy in Corpus.
My mom and dad's house has changed so much since Christmas when I was here last. They have done ALOT of remodeling and painting. It's very nice.
Tyler and the youth group got back early this morning around 5:45 from their trip to Dallas. He was glad to be home and slept al morning. I would call and he wouldn't answer so I knew he was still sleeping. He said his voice was tired and his body ached. That trip is so exhausting. I was kinda thankful I got to skip out on it this year. I was thankful they made it home safely without any too terrible mishaps.
He is now on his way to Denver City to visit his hometown and his mom and dad for a couple days. He needed to get out of Clovis for a few days since he worked all weekend long. He's excited to get break.
That's our update for now. I will post more pics of Landry soon. I am enjoying her so much and my family too. East Texas is more beautiful than it was growing up....
