Back in the States!!!!! The Lord is so good!

Well, the Lord has shown us His sweet favor once again. We traveled to Juarez, Mexico June 18th and made it across the border with only having to unload the top of our bus so the guards could look through it. We stayed for 10 days and while there we built a house for a family who ended up being believers. It was the most laborious mission trip I have ever been on, but so rewarding and exciting. We also got to witness to a group of children and adults in a park one day and 11 people professed Jesus as their Savior. That was such an answered prayer for Tyler and I! We wanted to build a house but most importantly wanted to have the chance to share the gospel with people while we were their too, and the Lord gave us that gift of getting to see that happen. It was so special getting to listen to the gospel be told in Spanish through out translator who is a minister in Juarez.

We visited an orphanage that same day as well, and grilled hot dogs and made smores with the children there. I have never visited an orphange before and it was such an extraordinary experience. It made me want to move to a 3rd world country and open one with Tyler. Who knows, maybe the Lord will open that door for us someday. The children at the orphanage were so exicted to see us and just have people to play with them and talk to them. They loved the smores which I don't think any of them had ever had before. Their smiles were priceless. Tyler and I would love to adopt from an orphanage someday, Lord willing.

We had a wonderful trip and never once felt unsafe or afraid. The Lord is so trustworthy and faithful to us. Tyler did a great job leading the trip. This was his first international mission trip to lead. We had great leaders also from LoneTree Ministries that helped so much! We thank any of you who kept us in your prayers. I will post some pictures soon.
