The baby is a boy! We are so excited about it! But most importantly everything was normal on all my tests and our baby boy has two arms, two legs, 10 toes, 10 fingers, a good heartbeat and heart, good kidneys, and brain, etc... There was nothing negative. :) Thank you, Father, for a healthy baby thus far.
We can't wait till this little fella gets here! I am 5 months and 5 days along, so we've made it halfway! 4 months to go! It seems like we just found out we were pregnant and now we are halfway done. I know he'll be here so fast, and I've got so much to do before he does. :)
Thank you everyone who has been praying specifically for this baby boy so far (Megan, Melissa, Court, Mom & Dad, Brooke, Becka, etc...) We are so grateful to have faithful people praying for us and our son.

I'm sorry that I didn't write more in my text when I got your message. I was actually in the hospital. I started having contractions last night and was experiencing quite a bit of pressure in my pelvis. (Which isn't a good thing right now!) And my doctor was worried about preeclampsia because I had a tingling sensation in both my arms and legs. Everything came back okay. Rylan is doing just fine. They gave me something to stop the contractions and told me that I need to rest more until further notice. I'll keep you updated if anything changes. But we both are fine at the moment so I'm praising Jesus for that!
Congrats guys! I was wrong, but who cares! As long as he's healthy that's all that matters. Plus, how cute is he going to be! Man, you Hicks are just like us Azams...boys, boys, boys! But, having a son is the best...can't wait until you get to hold your baby boy!
