Well, there's just a day and 1/2 left till the big holiday of Halloween and to third graders it's a BIG deal, especially to my third graders. Here in Bovina, TX. people LOVE Halloween. Some of our aids started decorating our halls on Oct. 1st and they look awesome! Halloween is just a big deal here. It is a fun holiday, not my favorite but seeing my students so excited reminds me of growing up and getting so excited about it too. Haunted house, trick-or-treating, dressing up, Fall festivals, and eating ALOT of candy. And if you know me, candy is something I have always found quite delicious. We are having a Halloween party on Fri., which will be fun. Most teachers don't look forward to class parties, but I have always enjoyed them and look forward to them. I think it's a great way to have fun with my students and just a time to not think about school work and learning for once with them. It should be fun. Happy Halloween everyone!
