Well, we celebrated Tyler's 28th birthday this Sat. by jetting out of town and traveling to Denver City to visit Steve and Peggy and Mitch. It was very nice and I think Tyler enjoyed getting away from Clovis for the weekend for a change.
His mom and dad bought him a really nice, comfy recliner when we went to Hobbs, NM to shop. We also got a new couch and loveseat to go along with his chair. We are super thrilled to finally own our own matching furniture!!! It's suppose to be delivered to our house within the next two weeks, so we don't have it yet. As soon as we get it I'll be sure to post some pics.
Spring break is next week for Haley. We are going to pick up her mom and pregnant sister in Lubbock from the airport on Sat. They are staying for 6 days! I'm really thankful they are coming to see us and help me fix up our new house better.
Next Thursday we're going to Synder for the Easter weekend to visit Tyler's family. Brooke, Blake, and Hudson will be there! We haven't seen them since Christmas. We are so eager to see them!
Youth ministry is good. Tyler is preaching through the book of James on Wed. nights and has been enjoying getting back to expository preaching. He has been doing his Greek and really getting into it. He'll preach his second sermon from James this week.
Teaching 3rd graders in Bovina, TX is going well. They are very strong-willed children, but I enjoy being with them every day. Although, I am looking forward to Spring Break like I have never looked forward to it before! My kids took the Reading TAKS test last week, so I am praying they all passed. Now, we are preparing for the Math TAKS April 29th.
