Glorieta, New Mexico

We traveled 3 1/2 hours north of Clovis last weekend to Glorieta, NM. Tyler took me for my birthday and it was the best gift! We love the mountains and being in nature so it was extremely enjoyable for us. We stayed in the cabin that our church owns. We made a fire in the fireplace the morning we were there, had some good time with the Lord and in the Word, then went hiking up one of the mountains to a place called "Lookout Point". When you reach the top you can sit on some huge rocks and enjoy the view above the Glorieta campgrounds. We had prayer time there together and it was such a gift from the Lord. We then jogged to the prayer gardens that are very beautiful, and went and had lunch at a place called the ChuckWagon, which Tyler worked at the summer he worked in Glorieta. That evening we headed to Santa Fe which is 20 min. west and enjoyed Santa Fe's rustic environment with all kinds of different people. It was a sweet memory we won't forget.
